Coating
Coating
The Gyrotron Beam is a unique heat source for coating because of its capability to exclusively heat only the desired component in the coating process. The Beam allows, for example, the heating of a substrate to virtually any required temperature (higher or lower than coating material, based on process) or melting the substrate first.
Gyrotron Beam coating processes can be applied to coating ceramic by ceramics, metal by ceramics, metalizing polymers and ceramics, enameling and enamel repair and many other processes where a thin and strong coating is needed.
